Tip & FAQ
Here are some of the frequently asked questions
How long does a session last?
Your initial assessment lasts one hour. Follow up visits are either 30 or 60 minutes depending on your preference and your body coach's recommendation.
What training do TBRX body coaches have?
Our Body Coach's are all licensed Physical Therapists or Licensed Athletic Trainers. In addition to their professional training, our Body Coaches go through rigorous internal training on TBRx's 5 pillars that enhance muscle pliability.
Will I get treated during my initial assessment?
Definitely. While we start your initial visit with a thorough postural assessment and movement screen, your first visit will also include body work treatment and corrective exercises. As we get to know you and how your body works, it is important for us to combine treatment and continual re-assessment.
How do I choose which body coach is right for me?
All of our Body Coaches have gone through extensive training beyond their professional schooling. You're in amazing hands with anyone on our team! Choose a therapist based on the time that’s convenient for you.
How many sessions do I need?
If you are in pain, our coaches will be able to provide a more specific recommendation catered to your needs.
Do you accept FSA/HSA?
Yes!
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. We offer 30-minute virtual sessions to allow you to work with one of our Body Coach's from the comfort of your home.
Why don't we accept insurance?
At TBRX our first concern is you the patient! Our Body Coaches consist of Certified Physical Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainers who work under the guidance of Dr. Peter Cummings, MD. As such, TBRx will directly evaluate your issue or concern, quickly determine a treatment strategy, and focus on an immediate treatment plan to restore your health.
What do I need to bring for my Session?
Please bring comfortable athletic clothing for your treatment session. We ask that you wear shorts during your session.
How is TBRX different from other therapies?
TBRX starts with the understanding that the body moves as a system. We take a global approach to identifying the root cause of your pain or stiffness because often pain presents in one area of the body due to dysfunction in another area.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my session?
Per our cancellation policy, if you need to reschedule or cancel your session we require 24 hours advance notice. If you cancel or reschedule your session within 24 hours, you will be charged for the session.
